Once again I have had excellent service from Harborne Garage. I have been a customer for over 20 years. They’re not the cheapest nor the most expensive but they do good work and can be trusted to resolve any issue effectively and promptly.

Friendly, quick and kept me informed. One of few places that offer to check torque of wheel nuts for free after a week if have to remove wheel. Recommended to us from others in Harborne which says a lot about them.

My intermittent engine problems had been driving me mad, but the diagnostic unit held no data, so I came back when the light was on. My car broke down a few times on the way, but luckily I managed to get it there.

Despite being busy, they were able to slot me in, diagnose the fault, feed back to me and fix the issue in just a few hours. In time to fetch my son after school!

I got lucky with the timing, but it seems from the reviews that my experience is pretty common at Harborne Garage.

The friendly staff and honest, reasonable pricing means they've made a customer out of me. A clear improvement over my previous garage.

Would definitely recommend 🙂 Failed my MOT at halfords who wanted £420 to replace a broken spring. Called these guys up, spoke to their super friendly receptionist, who fitted me in next day dropped my car off and job was completed in a couple of hours. Passed the retest and only cost £115, as I'm woman always dubious about going to a new garage and getting ripped off, but will definitely be using these guys from now on.

I chose Harbourne garage as they were recommended by the AA, and I will definitely be using them again. New rear silencer fitted within 2 hours of dropping off my car, with a quote beforehand at a good price, and went above and beyond sorting out my lock as it kept jamming. The girl I spoke to at reception was lovely as well!

Friendly and helpful staff, and a brilliant garage. Saved me from some extortionate and inaccurately identified repair costs at a different garage. They sourced all parts at very reasonable prices, and took care of everything swiftly with great communication throughout. Will absolutely be taking my van there in the future

Had engine warning lights come on the car. Went to Hagbourne Garage. Found the receptionist polite and helpful after speaking to management, diagnostics were carried out. The problem was found and resolved quickly. A very good Garage and would definitely recommend.

Very welcoming and friendly service. Popped in with a flat tyre, they put some air in it and had us back on the road in no time.

They were able to fit me in at short notice when a warning light came on the dashboard.
They ran thorough diagnostics and got everything working again for a very reasonable price.

I've been going to Harborne garage for 3 years now and think it's a hidden gem😀
The reception staff owner and garage manager are supberb.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and i am always greeted with a friendly hello and smile.
Previously I had taken my car into a national chain and thought going to an independent garage would be more costly.
So pleasantly surprised that when comparing bills Harborne are cheaper!

Popped a tyre when parking at work, called and they had my tyre in stock and within 2 hours I was getting it replaced. Took less than an hour to do and they slotted me in the same day when they didn't have to but went out of their way to help me. Cheaper than other places I've had to replace tyres too.
10/10 would recommend - fantastic friendly service and a rapid result.

I recently had a puncture and needed it repaired urgently. I was very impressed with the service I received, as they managed to complete the repair within 40 minutes.

I travelled from Crewe yesterday and noticed my car was grinding..As I was going back home tonight I needed my car repairing..I contacted Harborne garage and the lovely lady on end of phone sorted me an appointment right away..The staff were efficient,and kept me informed as to what was wrong,price etc..I can nit fault the garage at all..Thank you so much for getting me back home

Telephoned just before closing time needing an urgent MOT, really helpful. Told me to drop it off 8.30 next morning, phoned me to confirm the appointment 8.15am the next morning. MOT sorted !

I have been using this garage for years since I had my baby and they checked a faulty light on the dashboard for me at the last minute in heavy snow , when I dropped in without prior notice and did not charge me. I have been having serious problems with my car, keep switching itself off while I’m driving it. When it started happening again my car was sent to Harborne Motors unfortunately they couldn’t do the work because it’s still under warranty and needed to go to the dealership. The lease company wanted me to drive it to the dealership despite the fact that the RAC said it’s not safe to drive and nothing had changed. The team at Harborne Motors very kindly drove it over for me understanding how scared I am of this car. Ann on the front desk is just wonderful her customer service is fantastic! I called in a panic looking for a garage that could help me, as my bonnet would not close and I needed to drive to London that day. They kindly invited me in straight away to see what they could do, and fixed my problem in a pinch. I absolutely will be a returning customer, everyone was really friendly and knowledgable.

I have a lease van which was booked in for a mot, anyone who has a lease vehicle knows how difficult lease companies can be, I asked the garage in advance if it could be done first thing as I would of had to transfer tools etc from my van to a hire van. They obliged and got it checked and mot’d before my hire/replacement vehicle had even turned up. I Can’t fault them, highly recommended.

Very professional and trustworthy mechanic. Although slightly more expensive than you might get somewhere else in Birmingham, you get what you pay for. If you want a mechanic that's knowledgeable, won't mess you around or rip you off or claim to do work that's not been done - I recommend here.

A great job from Harborne Garage, Green Flag dropped me and my car off after it had ground to a halt in Quinton. It was 3pm on a Friday and I didn't think I would find any garage that would take the car in at that time, fearing it would have to be left outside my house until I could find a garage to pick it up after the weekend. Harborne Garage were happy to take it in. They called before close of play on Friday, having performed the diagnostics and gave a quote, and it was ready to pick up on Monday. I went to the garage for a flat tire on a Friday afternoon just before the closing of the garage and they managed to change me the tire super quickly! Even it was close to the closing one of the guy did it. He was so kind! I was super happy because I was supposed to go on a weekend with my friends and drive 4h. It would not have been possible without their help! Thanks again a lot you saved us!!

Car was flat as a pancake and we managed to push it down from the top of heeley. The legend of a manager saved the day without a bat of an eyelid and as we are irresponsible students and don’t own jump leads. Thank you !!

The lady at the front desk was very nice, I had my MOT done here before and the charge was quite reasonable. The last few days I have had a harsh sound coming from my car and after diagnosing ithere I was told my car was a radio problem and there was no charge. Many thanks. (As a foreign student, my English is not good, but I can still feel their patient service) Have a good Christmas too！

Great premises, lovely staff who were very helpful and kept me up to date with all work and costs. Took my old Volvo in for an MOT and also asked them to look at my heating which had stopped working. As a starting point they suggested replacing a part, which they did very quickly. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issue, but they did not charge for the new part and reduced the labour cost, which was absolutely brilliant. They have also suggested another route to tackle the problem so its not a dead end . Definitely recommend using them!
