🚨 A blowout at speed is one of the more frightening things that can happen in a car — and it’s one of the more common reasons people end up needing recovery.
It’s rarely completely out of nowhere either. Slow leaks, worn tread and underinflated tyres all raise the risk, especially on faster roads where heat builds up in a weak tyre until it fails.
If it does happen, get off the road safely, put your hazards on, and stay somewhere visible but out of traffic.
